Regarding PREVI’S Accounting Statements and Results and the Annual Activity Report for 2008:

During a meeting held on February 19 2009, the Deliberative Body of PREVI - Banco do Brasil Employee Pension Fund, in the use of the competencies vested in it by subparagraphs XII and XIII, or Article 22 of the Entity’s Bylaws, examined PREVI’S Accounting Statements and Results and its Annual Activity Report, as submitted by the Executive Board, for the year ending on December 31 2008.

Based on the analysis that were carried out, on the clarifications provided by the Executive Board, on the Opinion of the Independent Auditors, on the Actuarial Opinion issued by Internal Actuaries, on the Opinion of the Audit Committee, and on the Explanatory Notes regarding the Accounting Statements, the Deliberative Body hereby concludes the administrative activities complied with PREVI’S statute devices and with the legal principles, and that the accounting statements properly reflect the Entity’s asset and financial status, including the business and activities carried out in the examined fiscal year, and, thus, it approves the Annual Activity Report and the Accounting and Result Statements for 2008.
