By means of this report, PREVI resumes the publication of its Sustainability Report, formerly named as Social Balance Sheet and Social and Corporate Responsibility Report. Since the release of the latest edition of the Social Balance Sheet in 2004, the discussions concerning the sustainability questions and the parameters and instruments which guide the publication of reports by different types of organizations experienced a great improvement.
In line with that process of improvement, PREVI opted to conduct the preparation of this new report by following the GRI guidelines (Global Reporting Initiative) and by establishing a process which counted with the participation of different kinds of publics or interested parties in the elaboration of that publication.
That line of action confirms PREVI's intention to encourage an extensive dialogue and to look for innovative solutions which might contribute for the consolidation of a pattern of development that takes into account, side by side, the economic, social, environmental and cultural aspects.
More than just render accounts about PREVI's latest initiatives and results, the purpose of this report is to share with all interested parties our efforts concerning the establishment of a type of management which could definitively integrate the most efficient administration of the assets of our members with the cravings of our country and of our society, in general.
